Smart Home Portfolio was created to inspire homeowners to think differently about their living possibilities.
Founded by Brian Leddy, Smart Home Portfolio wants to help you imagine a home that caters to your lifestyle, brings memorable experiences to life, and lets you focus on the things that matter most - instead of the day-to-day, repetitive tasks of running a home.
“It is the main earthly business of a human being to make his home, and the immediate surroundings of his home, as symbolic and significant to his own imagination as he can.”
About Brian Leddy
Brian has spent nearly two decades at the intersection of technology and experience design. As Director of Operations for Social Media Week, a global conference series, he worked alongside leading technology brands to build state-of-the-art brand activations, high-speed networks, and live technology experiences for audiences around the world.
That technical foundation eventually led Brian into health and wellness, where he built a deep understanding of the home environment conditions that support a genuinely healthier lifestyle - insight that now directly informs how he designs smart home systems for Daisy's clients.
Along the way, he also spent years consulting on AI and business automation, building custom apps and sophisticated software for companies looking to modernize their operations. In 2026, Brian launched Daisy Gulf Coast.
That combination - large-scale technology experience, home wellness expertise, and hands-on automation and software background - gives Brian a genuine, long-standing interest in smart home technology specifically: how automation, lighting, audio, and climate systems can be designed and installed to work together in a way that's both sophisticated and simple to live with. It's what makes him a uniquely qualified resource for homeowners looking to build a true sanctuary of automation, powered by the most prestigious technology brands on the planet.
“Of all modern notions, the worst is this: that domesticity is dull. … Inside the home, they say, is dead decorum and routine; outside is adventure and variety. But the truth is that the home is the only place of liberty, the only spot on earth where a man can alter arrangements suddenly, make an experiment or indulge in a whim. The home is not the one tame place in a world of adventure; it is the one wild place in a world of rules and set tasks.”
